Penny mentioned having students talk about what's happening in a picture. I love using odd pictures for that and I wanted to share one of my favorites. There's so much going on here that students always have something to talk about.

  2. Hahaha oh wow, this is hilarious! If you search for Perfectly-Timed Photos, you'll find some other cracking pictures which really get everyone thinking! I managed to find a few which could be compared so I used them in a few lessons and the students loved them!

  3. I usually give students a set amount of time and tell them in groups they have to devise a coherent single story that covers everything that happened. So they can’t gloss over anything.
