If you are having trouble with others seeing your posts, or if people can't comment on your posts, it's usually the privacy settings on your Google + account are set to restrict who can see and comment on what you write.

To fix both issues, go to 'settings' in google+. I'm using Chrome with my PC, so the screenshots below are from what it looks like on my computer. It might look different on yours. (If you can't find it, just search for "how do I change settings in Google + on _", or something like that.)

1) Check that 'anyone' can comment on your public posts. (It's circled in the first photo I've attached, and is at the top of the settings.)

2) Scroll down toward the bottom of the settings and look for "Other". There you'll see "target audience". Make sure it says "anyone". (It's circled in the second photo.)

Your posts should now be visible, and allow replies.

  1. Thanks Barbara. I've checked that mine is the same. I also changed the "who can see your +1 posts" to anyone. Hopefully that'll make a difference.
