hello, I think I'm the least experienced teacher among you. I want to thank Penny for her insightful tips.

I applied the principle 3 to teach the present perfect tense. I tried to personnalize the sentences in order to make the students more engaged and active. I was surprised to find out that the learners wanted to participate and provide the correct answer. It was one of the best sessions ever.

I want also to share with you my experience in listening. My learners sat for an exam last week. So, in the listening section, I provided some background information and I asked them to read the questions and I read the text three times. So, I guess I'm in the right path.

  1. Yes, It sounds great! Marwa! I must say I also felt like "I am heading in the right direction" when using the tips we learned yesterday. I am looking forward to trying personalizing sentences with a group I have tomorrow (I am sure they will make it fun). :)

  2. Thanks to both of you! I'm really impressed by how ready you all are to experiment with new ideas and then reflect on them, as well as sharing ideas of your own!
